Pastor
Senior Pastor Andrew Hise is a native of Virginia. He is a graduate of Gordon-Conwell Theological Seminary with a Master of Divinity and Piedmont Baptist College with a Bachelor of Arts in Biblical Studies – Focus in Pastoral Studies. Andrew started at New Hope Friends Church in June 2019. He and his wife, Megan have a son, Ezra and recently became Foster Parents.
Associate Pastor
My name is Justin Hilton and my wife is Elizabeth. We have been married for 24 years and have 4 beautiful children ; Alyssa, Abby, Amelia and Brycen. Together, we have been serving in ministry in various capacities for 23 years. When not serving in ministries, our passion is our family. We love spending time together and making memories. It is an honor to be Associate Pastor at NHFC. Our desire is to love others, see souls saved and watch God grow the ministries at NHFC. We love you all and look forward to working with you for the cause of Christ.
Financial Secretary
Elaine Edwards has been a member of New Hope Friends Church her entire life. She feels a strong and deep connection with her church Family stemming from the active roles her parents had at New Hope Friends. She was hired as the first Office Secretary for New Hope in 1981 and kept that position until approximately 1998. She then assumed the role of Financial Secretary/Treasurer. Elaine is responsible for all Accounting functions, assists church committees with budgetary planning and works closely with the Finance Committee, Office Secretary and Pastors. Elaine has also been the church Pianist for the Youth and later the Adult choir since age 16. She has a great love for music and considers it one of the foundations upon which New Hope Friends stands. Elaine is married to Virgil Edwards. They have two wonderful children, a son Justin and a daughter, Shelley.
Music Director
Hayley Fly has been a member of the New Hope Family since birth. She discovered her love for music at a young age and first sang in the church at the age of 4. Hayley joined the New Hope Choir when she was 13. She enjoyed music in school and was part of the band in middle and high school and in college. In 2019, Hayley felt led to become choir director at New Hope. She plans to continue to use her God given gifts and talents to glorify God through music. Hayley is married to Garrett Fly. She is a full time school nurse at Spring Creek Elementary. She loves animals, the beach, and spending time with her family.
